by Chris Raneri, DTM District Director
Hey roadblock, it’s me, the outstanding member for January. I wanted to let you know that you can’t beat me. You can keep trying, but I will find a solution to get past you. I’ll even do it while smiling and having fun! What do you think about that?
This is exactly how this month’s outstanding member supports the district. It would have been easy for the Summit Manager to have given up when our venue could no longer commit. It would have been easy to have made excuses when everything needed to be redone with only one month remaining.
Instead, she worked with the team to find solutions. She made sure the Summit was an event that would showcase the talent District 25 had to offer. She did it without showing frustration while taking each setback in stride. She made the process fun for everyone – we even enjoyed trunk cake! While all of this was happening, she was also serving as the D25 Admin Manager. I can tell you honestly that I enjoy reading the meeting notes she sends out.
If you haven’t guessed it by now, the Outstanding Member of the Month for January is Emily Murray. Congratulations! Thank you for leading the team in creating a very successful Summit and for all you do to support the members of District 25 and the Trio. We are proud of you!
