by the 2022-2023 TLI TEAM
Note: Details on supplemental sessions updated July 8, 2022 on TLI page.
We have SEVEN FABULOUS TLI SESSIONS hosted by D25 lined up for you this summer! Our goal is to have 100 percent of our club officers in D25 trained!
Incoming club officers should plan to attend one of our summer’s TLI sessions to receive training credit and prepare them for their specific officer role(s) within the club. To receive full credit for their training, club officers will need to attend the General Session as well as training for their specific club officer role. At the TLIs club officers get to network with other members and club officers, find inspiration in the general session and the supplemental sessions, and get the opportunity to receive and exchange ideas during the officer training portion of the TLI session.
The TLI team has been working hard to provide interesting and inspiring supplemental sessions for the summer TLI season! We have a wide array of topics from which club officers may choose! Did you also know that anyone can attend a TLI? You don’t have to be a club officer to join us! All are welcome! In the future, if you’re considering running for a club officer role, attend officer training for the role you’re interested in and learn all the responsibilities and individual growth opportunities.
Our June 24th TLI session is our first session of the summer! Look at these interesting supplemental sessions lined up for that day: Club Mentor Training (presented by Elicia Cook), a panel discussion on “Ethics” (presented by Les Condit), a session entitled “How to Write a Speech in Five Minutes” (presented by Jamie Pickering). See the full list of descriptions for our summer District Supplementals below.
There will be 13 TLI’s offered during the summer TLI season; 7 hosted by the district and 6 hosted by the divisions. They are either in person or virtual, no hybrid options this round. Here are the 7 district TLI summer session dates (6 Division dates TBD- please watch the TLI page for more information!):
