What can be better than an Open House meeting? An Open House that is also a Golden Gavel, of course. December’s Open House winner is none other than Centex Clearly Speaking Toastmasters. Jai Erwin, Area 34 Director, was in attendance and shared there was a unique twist to the meeting. Kimberly Schubert, the club’s VP of Membership, gave a speech, but this wasn’t the surprise. The surprise came when her daughter provided the introduction.
We can all see this meeting was a great success, but that’s not where it ends. For this special event, this club also developed a flyer to promote the open house, resulting in four guests attending. Way to go Centex Clearly Speaking, and congratulations! You have $25 TI bucks coming for being the December monthly winner. You also have $25 more coming because it was a Golden Gavel.
