February is upon us and with it begins Speech Contest Season! A time for us to gather and grow while supporting each of us who is competing in our first, fourth, or even fifteenth speech contest.
Has Cupid’s arrow struck you and you feel compelled to compete this year? Dust off your pocket speeches, practice those zoom skills and give it your best effort – we’re here to cheer you on!
Feeling more like a matchmaker? There are plenty of opportunities to work behind the scenes as a contest helper, judge, or toastmaster. If you feel called to act, contact your club contest chair, Area Director, Division Director, or me, your D25 Contest Coordinator
Or are you more of a spectator (Bachelor/Bachelorette viewers, I see you)? Please come and watch contests at all levels – you truly help to make the contest season special and inspire us all to try our best.
