If the logo isn’t on the flyer or post do I need to use the brand colors and brand fonts?
Our District PRM admits they didn’t know the answer so they went on a hunt to find out. Here is what they heard straight from Toastmasters International Headquarters…
Even though a flyer or post doesn’t have the logo on it, if it comes from the club in any form it MUST be brand compliant (don’t shoot the messenger).
Most designs are very easy to adjust (and with the second piece of exciting news it’s even easier)!
By simply changing the colors to the brand approved colors found in the brand manual at https://www.toastmasters.org/resources/brand-manual and changing the fonts to the approved ones (Montserrat and Source Sans Pro) we are just a few clicks away from brand compliance! Woohoo!

Our 2022-23 D25 PRM spoke with Toastmasters International Headquarters and got the go ahead to share with you a wonderful opportunity provided through Canva. If you’re not familiar with Canva it’s a very user-friendly design platform filled with templates, photos, graphics, etc. – created to make graphic design easy and accessible to everyone everywhere. Canva offers their premium subscription for FREE to non-profits and your club can apply for access today!
This premium account offers the ability to set up a brand kit that makes it effortless to ensure that every graphic your club creates is inline with Toastmasters International standards! With our first responsibility being “Protector of the brand” we can lead by example when we make and share designs. 💯
Here’s how you can apply for your club’s free premium account now:
Simply email IRSQuestions@toastmasters.org at Toastmasters International Headquarters with your club number asking for a subsidiary letter to present to Canva for a free non-profit account.
They will then email you a letter, which you will use to apply at https://www.canva.com/canva-for-nonprofits/
If for some reason you don’t get an email response, you may also reach Toastmasters International at 720-439-5050 ext. 1212.
Once accepted, log in, have FUN, and start creating! 🎉
