Karen Shadden, a graduate of Angelo State University with a BBA in Accounting, a mother of 10 children plus many more as a foster/adoptive parent. She is a community CPR instructor. She has served as 4-H Club Manager for 8 years and has been an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 20+ years. She loves to share stories of her adventures in parenting and growing with her neurodivergent children, staying busy leading, teaching, mentoring, serving and her latest adventure as a school bus driver.
Karen joined Toastmasters in 2020. She has completed two pathways: Persuasive Influence and Motivational Strategies being awarded Triple Crown on both pathways. She is currently working on Engaging Humor pathway as well as DTM and Nemileta Award. She has served as SAA and President of her club, Something to Talk About. She loves to help others see the benefits that Toastmasters has to offer.
