With a degree in Linguistics from San Diego State University, Liz Brenner has spent her career catering to the English language. She spent many years as a technical writer in the medical industry, and this led to her successful career in teaching English as a Second Language to doctors all over the world. Liz is also a reader in the entertainment industry. She reads script submissions for movie studios and writes detailed coverage reports, outlining the strengths, the weaknesses and the marketability of each script. She is often assigned to work with the scriptwriters to coach them while they revise their work. Liz has been a Toastmaster since 2009, and she is proud to have reached the highest designation of Distinguished Toastmaster. Liz continues to participate in Toastmasters in order to mentor the newer members.
